Over the last few weeks I've been working on a series of drawings based on the parable of the Sower and the Seed in Matthew 13:1-23. I must admit the last piece is a tree, instead of a field of crops. The tree image is heavily influenced by Jeremiah 17:7-8, which states, "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." Being rooted in Christ is what makes one grow and gives you strength for the day. Anyway, I wanted to present the completed series as a slide show for viewing. I present them in order of where the seed fell and not in the order I made them. Enjoy.
