Photo Memories of a Bygone Time....
Looking through some old photos, I found this series of images I took back in 2017. Something about these black and white images calls to mind the isolation of these current times because no longer is it a common site to see a street packed with cars and people wearing no masks. And despite the beauty of that winter day, the trees seem stark and bare, a runner is dwarfed by trees and people sit against empty lonely landscapes. But despite the look of the surroundings, there are moments of connectedness as friends sit and talk, a couple rests on a bench or another stops to attend to their dog. Beauty and Community, even in Isolation.
